Mr. Burke has been working in the technology industry for over 15 years. His technical expertise ranges from hardware repair to web development. As the Director of Information Technology for the iFranchise Group, his responsibilities range from website development and optimization, to management of online advertising campaigns and other networking and technical needs.
Prior to joining the iFranchise Group, Mr. Burke served as Chief Technical Officer of PC Plumber, Inc., where he was responsible for short and long term client planning and business development planning. He was directly involved in hardware and software networking, development, maintenance, and support; oversight of contractors, employees, and vendors; relationship development with contractors and vendors; and web consulting, research, planning, and design/implementation.
Mr. Burke was also the Director of Internet Development at the nonprofit CALI (Center for Computer Assisted Legal Instruction) for seven years, where his duties included building servers to managing multiple websites and complex databases.
Through his years of experience in the information technology field, Mr. Burke has developed strengths in planning, research, and troubleshooting. He is familiar with various technology protocols and platforms, including Windows, Mac, and UNIX environments, LAN and WAN connectivity, and numerous networking, operating, and web software programs.
Mr. Burke has a bachelor's degree from Fairfield University in Connecticut. He is also a licensed attorney, with a law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
